This week, err, month, err, lifetime.

July 23, 2007

:: I had major cramps at work so I had to take two hours off speaking in front of a blue screen and sleep at a makeshift bed (an OB GYN bed at that) in the company’s clinic.  I never thought I’d see the day of me thanking my monthly episodes of World War II/dysmenorrhea.

:: I wore my patent brown cork wedge shoes to work for two days not realizing that it almost always rains in the afternoon and that I have to walk from Ayala to Makati Stock Exchange if I want to get seated in a bus. Love, agony, and vanity. Nice combination.

:: Friends at work always decide to have lunch at Binalot sa third floor ng RCBC even if it means crossing the street, risking skin cancer at 12 high noon wearing a tank top, body hugging tee, and a sweatshirt on top of that.  The food was never great on that side of Ayala, and when you cut your meat in two, it looks frozen and taste dull, but maybe we’re just getting tired of Mcdo and KFC.

:: Btw, the radio played Gusto ni Jolina Magdangal written by Khavn dela Cruz while I’m having lunch there the past Saturday. Amazing. Last time I was there it was blasting, “…don’t you know that we both belong…” by Toni Gonzaga. Tough, tough luck.

:: I know you all know this (you all should know this by now) but I’m still posting that Iza Calzado gets to star in the Hollywood remake of Sigaw. Cue for cheerdance.

:: I’m hungry, and no, I’m not pregnant. Haha!

The Reason

July 11, 2007

– why I’m horribly, horribly tired is that I haven’t had lunch because during my first fifteen minute break, I had 2 tubs of tuna mayo sandwich, that was very vomit inducing, so I swore never to ate lunch ’cause I felt like puking.

Now, I’m dying to have a greasy double cheeseburger.

And I will put this under LOVE.

Today, I suck.

:: I’m never good at decision-making.  I easily get frustrated and sad and depressed over little things.  I wish I’m not like that.  I’m a very tactless person.  And insensitive.  A klutz.

:: Otom sent me a text message asking what dysentery is.  I hit back with a snotty “I don’t remember, maybe a bacterial stomach infection or something”.  Then he says there’s a dysentery outbreak in Cavite. News here

:: Oscar Franklin Barcelona Tan, a graduate of UP Law Class 2005 delivered Harvard’s commencement address last June 7.  It’s only now that I know.  He ends it with “Mabuhay at maraming salamat” (paraphrased), very mainstream, yes, but still Filipino. :)

:: We’re putting up something.  Maybe I’ll keep both of the URLs — if it turns out fine.

:: UNTV is looking for a female host for a new morning show.  Auditions were held last June 29, and I don’t know why I’m posting this here, but according to the e-mail if there’s still someone out there who would like to give hosting a shot you could contact 4110616/4143221 and ask for Kit Meily or Ehloe Tan. Haha, I don’t know why I just did that.  I don’t even know this people. :)

::  Oh, and if you know MONDOMANILA, they’re having auditions din.  OT: I use to believe Kulastalon was real.

WHEN: This Thursday July 5 & Saturday July 7. 2pm-8pm.
WHERE: Unit E, 2nd Floor, 21 Kamias Road, Quezon City.
CONTACT: Chits Jimenez, 4331121, 0917-8211093.

::  I remember watching Korina’s show on ANC about desaparecidos and it was about Jonas Burgos who was abducted last April 28.  Now there’s news that it was ISAFP.  Expected.

::  I’m too emotional today at work.  I have to practice self restraint and be objective and keep my mouth shut.  Hope things turn smooth tomorrow.

“How many times do we miss God’s blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?”

A gradeschool classmate had her status on YM set on the phrase above.

I’m thankful that the people that I love did not make me feel that my failure was a big deal.   I’m crossing my fingers.  There’s always a reason for everything that happens.

I’m willing to understand.
